A summer layout

I have finally got around to creating some layouts. Not many...but I have my good friend Melissa.....MAKING ME!!!!!! haha!

The month of June just flew by ...and I am sure July is going to go just as quick. I never realized how many kids are born in the summer months, because all we have been doing is running to a ton of birthday parties.....ours {Cams, Topanga's and Reese's} included. Reese's party is not til this Sunday for the fam and next Sunday for her friends. over 20 screaming kids. Good times.

The Beach

Well, We got back from the beach on June 13, LOL and I am finally uploading some pics from it. I was playing around with some photoshop actions last nite with a few of the MANY pics I took. I like to take pictures, but I am not a professional by any stretch of the imagination. I really wish I were tho.

The Beach was not near as stressful as what I thought it was going to be with my two girls and my brother's GF's 2 girls. 4 kids 5 and under. EEKKK!

Yes I am SO that Mom that dresses their kids alike. I know I can't do it forever. Although it serves as a pretty good tracking device.Much, much easier to keep an eye on them that way!

I spent the nights at the beach reading Twilight. I finished the whole saga in a week. The Hubs was ACTUALLY jealous of the books. haha!! I think he was neglected pretty much the whole time I was reading it!!

I could probably read about Edward and Bella forever. My favorite character in the story was Alice. The bond that Edward had with her was the sweetest thing!! Even in the movie she was so darn cute! I can't wait for the New Moon movie to come out. It was my favorite book out of all of them.

Reese said to me when I was reading, Mommy...when I get big...can I read those too?...Yes Reese...when you are much, much older ;).

Someday soon I might get these pics printed so I can do a few layouts or a mini ...or something!!! Right about now, I am enjoying my freedom from it!! I do however, have an idea pop in my head every once in a while. It will be back..I just know it!!! I really want to do a mini about Twilight. I know I am obsessed...but I really think it would be cool to do!

It's been a while. So if anyone still reads my blog, I am alive. I just really have been busy, getting ready to go to the beach, getting caught up at home and really not feeling like creating or posting anything!

I did get photoshop for a really good price. If you want to get it and do not want to spend the 700 bucks for it, buy a Wacom Tablet and go to their site. They offer a discount on photoshop. Yes it is a full version of CS4. {and legal too}.

I spent alot of time downloading actions so that I could edit pics on my way to the beach. Six hours in a car with a 2 and 4 year old ....eek!!!

I am going to miss Topanga tho. She knows something is up and is moping around.

One of these days I might have a layout or something for ya.

A quick post

I wanted to get these cute canvas paintings that my girls made for me for Mother's Day.

Apparently Reese started out loving me, ha! but ending up loing herself instead. gotta love the picture of me on the left side, and the backwards "s".

Don't ask me why I am writing this while I am supposed to be watching Desperate Housewives. I really hate the one story line, and it is reeaallly boring to me.

I got a pedicure this weekend, and was even gonna upload a picture , but I deleted it, who really wants to look at my feet anyways..LOL. They looked good though for only like a matter of 1/2 hour, after that ....Miss Cams for some reason kept stepping on my toes and boogered them up!

I also got to go out last nite to see the one band I like. I also realize staying out til 3 am will definitely result in an almost WHOLE day on the couch. I even napped with the girls for 2 hours. haha! Now watch, I won't be able to fall asleep tonite!!!!!!

ok only 1/2 hour left of DH, so I better get to watching. I hae a new layout coming soon for mojo, so keep an eye out for that.

Let's celebrate Cinco De Mayo...ok, I am a few days late, but I celebrated mine with along side a toilet ...no not from too many margaritas.... but from a nice stomach bug that decided to invade my body :/ Not fun I tell ya! Sorry TMI!! LOL!

I did start my photog course last nite, which makes me WANT photoshop even more. Oh the actions I can buy....... ug. still dreaming. Did you see the hefty price of it? *thud*

I am saving my money up though, maybe by this time next year I will have it. I will have to sacrifice buying scrapbook goodies. OH NO!!! but it will be worth it ..i hope. I am gonna download the trial version for a month. I am a glutten for punishment. Why does everything that I WANT have to be so darn expensive???

Wanna hear the hub's answer. Stay off the damn internet. He thinks that it is where I get all my cockamamie ideas. I can't even believe that cockamamie is even a real word..haha it is ..I looked it up.

Off to surf the internet a bit and waste the time til I can go home and pick up my new favorite friend .....

It has been so nice outside lately, I have not had much time to even think about scrapbooking. Althoughhhh I have bought a few things...hehehe!

I got Elsie's Favorite things kit, her Camp cute Kit...adorable stuff AND I even bought some of her cute underwear stickers.....for Cams potty training page dontcha know!!!!! ha!

I also bought a few pages of this paper, from this artist.... I just LOVE the font she uses. I also bought an embroidery book that she wrote as well. Cute, cute , CUTE stuff. I think she is my favorite artist as of late! You can check out her website as well....so many bright, pretty colors.

Next week I am taking a photography course at a local college. My Sis & I are going. I am posting THIS...because she thinks it is funny to "steal" my camera!!

I really want to learn how to get myself OUT of the auto mode on my camera. My girls are growing soooo fast and I definately am missing out on some beautiful pictures. I can't wait!! I am hoping that it helps me. I was supposed to go last fall, but the class fills up so quickly. I called super early this session!!!

I am here...

I just don't have too much going on that is exciting. I really have not had the urge to create. I have a big pile of messy craft crap! I do believe that is my biggest problem. I did get to sneak in one layout in the past two weeks.

It is for ScrapMojo. The Challenge this week is to use Peter Pan as inspiration and to use a frame.

So go there now and upload your pretty creations!!!

I have a week full of appointments, my Reese has kindergarten registration tomorrow. Where did the time go? How did my little baby get to be so big so fast?

Due to recent events, I started a to-do list yesterday. I really need to get motivated. Speaking of motivation, I have started to exercise... if you know me, pick your jaw back up off of the floor!! haha!! Seriously. I had an old Richard Simmons video...haha..yea. seriously. he is annoying as all hell, but I'll tell you what, It really kept my attention. AND believe ME!!! I do have a very small attention span when it comes to exercising. I tried walking on a treadmill a few times...let me tell you a little story about my TREADMILL EXPERIENCE ...I start walking on it. Phew, I HAVE TO be walking for AT LEAST 15 minutes if not more. I look down at the timer.....2 minutes...WTF....are you KIDDING me??? {it now is a clothes hanger in the basement}. I have to get into a bathing suit, I JUST have to this year!!!!
